Changing Places

Established in 2005, the Changing Places Consortium is a group of organisations and individuals who work individually to support the rights of people with disabilities and come together as the home of the Changing Places Campaign in the UK.

At the heart of the campaign is the call for Changing Places toilets to be installed in all big public spaces so that people can access their community.

Did you know that over a 250,000 people in the UK need Changing Places Toilets to enable them to get out and about and enjoy the day-to-day activities which many of us take for granted.



To use a toilet in safety and comfort, these people need to be able to access a CPT, which has more space and the right equipment, including a height adjustable changing bench, a peninsular toilet and a celling hoist.
